This is the UK Species Inventory web-tools sandbox - a place where the most up to date copy of the UKSI is available for testing purposes.

Feel free to search and browse the database but please be aware of the house rules:

• the data is provided as-seen - no warranty is offered or implied
• this is the most up to date, publicly accessible copy and includes additions and amendments that are not in the NBN Gateway, iRecord or Recorder6. This can be a good thing because you can check whether a name has been added recently, but it might also create confusion if I am part-way through a large update and there are loose ends. If you have any questions then just ask.
• do not make any changes to the data - even if you find a tempting Edit button
• do not link to any page on this website from another website - pages here may be removed or change functionality without warning
